No, you can shorten URLs without an account. However, creating a free account gives you access to additional features like link management, detailed analytics, and custom short URLs.

Registered users can create custom short URLs by:

1. Logging into your account
2. Entering your long URL in the shortening tool
3. Choosing the "Custom" option
4. Entering your preferred short code (e.g., tyzo.in/yourname)
5. Clicking "Create Short Link"

Yes! Registered users get access to detailed analytics including:

• Total clicks over time
• Geographic location of visitors
• Referral sources
• Device and browser information

Simply log in and view your dashboard to see these statistics.

To delete a shortened URL:

1. Log into your account
2. Go to "My Links" in your dashboard
3. Find the link you want to delete
4. Click the "Delete" button next to it

Note: Once deleted, the short URL will no longer work and all analytics data will be permanently removed.

For each click on a shortened link, we collect basic information including:

• IP address (anonymized)
• Timestamp

2. Verify that the original long URL is still active

All shortened links remain active indefinitely unless:

• The link owner deletes it
• The link violates our terms of service
• We discontinue the service (we'll provide notice if this happens)

Registered users can set custom expiration dates for their links.

To reset your password:

2. Click "Forgot password?"
3. Enter the email address associated with your account
4. Check your email for a password reset link
5. Follow the instructions to create a new password
